Book of Remembrance
Some of the most famous names in music are recorded in the Book of Remembrance – some two thousand in total – though all in the book are those who “found out musical tunes”, as composers, performers, teachers or other practitioners of the art. The Book is maintained by The Friends of the Musicians’ Chapel. The Friends exists to support St Sepulchre’s in the care of the Chapel and in other ways, with the annual Service of Thanksgiving each Spring, at which are read the names added that year to the Book of Remembrance.
